NetZoom 6: System Requirements

Minimum System Requirements for NetZoom 6

To use NetZoom 6 and enjoy a simpler, more effective way for network diagramming and documentation, you need:

Hardware

		Intel Processor with minimum 500 MHz.
		512 MB RAM recommended.
		At least 100 MB of available hard disk space, depending on your library selections. Optional installation files cache requires additional hard disk space.

		DVD drive for installation.

Operating System

Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows XP with the latest Service Packs (SP2 or higher) or Windows 2000.

IMPORTANT NOTES

		NetZoom 6 is not compatible with 64-bit operating systems at this time.
		Supported and certified for English versions of Windows, Visio, Office and other supported host applications only.

		International users (non-English versions of Windows, Visio, Office and other host applications): Altima recommends using NetZoom shapes and Visio stencils only. For more information, please contact Altima Technologies at 630.281.6464 (US Central).

Service Packs available from Microsoft Corporation at www.microsoft.com.

Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 must be installed.

Host Applications

NetZoom 6 works with the following host applications:

		Microsoft Visio 2003 or higher
		Microsoft Office 2003 or higher
		netViz
		AutoCAD 2006

Please contact us to confirm support for your preferred host application and stay up-to-date as we add support for other host applications.

Display Requirements

Super VGA (800x600) or higher-resolution monitor.

Internet Connection

Internet functionality for features like Smart Update and Microsoft Office Research requires dial-up or broadband Internet access (provided separately); local or long-distance charges may apply; Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or later is recommended.
